Hatha Yoga Workshop

"Stability & Comfort in Backbends"

This workshop will deepen your understanding of the mechanics of backbends. We will explore different ways to lengthen the front of the body, upper-back, open the hips and shoulders in order to free the spine. We will build necessary strength in the legs and the core to create stability in order to support the opening and space in the body, necessary to perform the backbends safely. You will learn many pre-poses and how to use yoga props to make backbends more accessible and friendly whether you are a beginner or more advanced student of hatha yoga. The workshop is suitable for curious students, teachers and future teachers.
