Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, Level II
300-Hour Certification Program

Begins Saturday, September 15, 2012

Program Structure

This comprehensive advanced training program begins with Orientation on Saturday, September 15, 2012 and concludes with graduation in June of 2013. The 9-month course combines Saturday classes and three retreat intensives.

Classes and Retreat Intensives
Classes will meet weekly at 2:30-6:30pm on Saturdays through December and every other Saturday from January through June 2013.

The Saturday classes combine in-depth, advanced asana instruction with lectures covering advanced anatomy, advanced philosophy, advanced teaching methodology and skills, meditation, pranayama, mantra and more. The classes are supported with guest lectures, MP3s, books, handouts, and study assignments.

The retreat intensives provide you with an opportunity to focus on your training without the distractions of daily activities, and will deepen your understanding and application of advanced teaching methodology and skills in a supportive environment. Retreats will also include asana, pranayama and meditation practices to assist you in taking your sadhana to another level.

An off campus 4-day weekend retreat will be held in March 2013 at the Cenacle Retreat Center in Lincoln Park. On campus 4-day retreats will be held at the Temple during January and June of 2013.

The program concludes with graduation in mid-June of 2013.
