About the classes

Our teachers are certified through the Temple's Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program. Classes are ongoing so you can join in at anytime and attend as your schedule permits. We have yoga mats and props available for your use. You may also bring your own.

Questions? Feel free to contact the Temple at (773) 342-4600 or via email: kriya@yogakriya.org with any questions you may have about attending our hatha yoga classes.

Restorative Yoga

A gentle practice that encourages deep relaxation. Learn the art of conscious relaxation while resting in supported postures that help quiet and calm the mind and body, and restore energy. Treat yourself to an hour and a half of Restorative Yoga each week, and learn poses you can practice at home to relax and renew.

Beginning-level Hatha Yoga

For students who are new to yoga. It is also a great 'refresher' class if you haven't practiced in a while. The class includes basic postures, breath awareness and relaxation. No previous experience needed.

Open-level Hatha Yoga

Mixed level class for beginning and continuing students. The classes combine postures, sequences, breath awareness and relaxation. Learn new postures and sequences and refine familiar ones. Beginners should know basic yoga postures to attend Open-level classes.

Intermediate Hatha Yoga

A advanced level class. The class includes more challenging postures and sequences, breathing practices and relaxation. Students with one or more years of regular practice are welcome to attend.
