  • Pre-requisite:  Attendees must have completed (or be currently enrolled in) a 200 Hour teacher training prior to enrollment in this 10 Hr Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training workshop.
  • Instructor:  This is a great opportunity to study with Rhonda Kantor, founder and director of Chicago’s most well respected prenatal yoga program.
  • Class Size:  There will be a maximum of 20 people only in this training. Please send in your application soon to hold your place in this training. Space is very limited and fills up quickly!!
  • Attendance:  Attendance is required for both days of the workshop.  Any classes missed must be made up (additional fees may be required).
  • Topics include: Pregnancy anatomy and physiology, asana modification, designing a prenatal yoga class, flow based yoga, sequencing, breathing and relaxation poses, integrating pregnant women into your mainstream classes and much more. You will be also be given a certificate of completion that outlines the hours in the areas of study.
  • Book:   A manual is provided to all students in the training.

Prenatal Yoga Teacher Trainer

Rhonda Kantor, RN, BS, BSN, Cert. HNB-BC, HWNC-BC, CCE, CBC, Registrations, E-RYT 500, RPYT, – the founder and director of the Global Yoga Center received her Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification from the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago in 1996. She has been the yoga studio director, director of teacher trainings, workshops leader and class instructor. She has specialized in training yoga teachers in Prenatal Yoga for over 10 years. 
  She has studied with numerous senior teachers in trainings and workshops all over the country. Rhonda has taught Yoga and Holistic Health classes at conferences and in business settings as well as consulted for teacher trainings and studios. Over the years, she has worked in both clinical and community settings. Rhonda combines her knowledge of alternative health and wellness with her yoga experience and teaching methods to create innovative Health and Wellness programs.  She is a Board Certified Holistic Nurse and recently completed her training and Board Certification in Health and Wellness Nurse Coaching.
