How to do it and how to teach it

Thought about trying yoga or haven’t been to a yoga class in many years? This class is geared toward 60+ Beginners who want to get into or back into yoga in a supportive, lower intensity environment. This class will teach yoga principles and basic/modified yoga poses to help enhance daily living and your other current activities. Yoga teachers are also welcome to get ideas and ask questions about teaching this clientele of students.

 

William Hunt was certified to teach yoga at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in 1976 and became an ordained Swami in 1978. He was the director of the Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainer Program at the Temple from 1995 to 2005.
One of his specialties now is team teaching Yoga 60+ with Annie Walters.
Annie Walters earned her certification at the Temple in 2004 and
specializes in transformational yoga therapy and restorative yoga.
