This lecture will explore the nature of worry, fear and stress in our modern lives. We will discuss the means by which living without stress and worry is possible right now, and for the rest of one's life.

On our part of the Earth, Spring is a time for planting. Whether we are growing flowers or vegetables, it helps to be intentional about the kinds of seeds we plant, and the types of plants we remove. Removing the invasive or unwanted plants affords the conditions for the desirable plants to grow and thrive. Our lives are like this, too. This meditation will invite you to reflect on the seeds of thought and action that you are planting today, and that will come to fruition at some later time. We will meditate on the thoughts and actions that we would like to cultivate in this lifetime, as well as those parts of our lives that may need to be pruned or removed, so as to allow the desirable thoughts and actions to grow in intensity and magnitude.
