Wisdom of Love-Unselfish Love Lectures
So many people are looking for love, and love is all around us. But our misery, fear and chaotic world view block us from experiencing the wisdom of love.
We want to be loved, but we don’t want to love. The answer? First, says Goswami Kriyananda, learn to love the unlovable. It doesn’t mean to love everybody in exactly the same way. Nor are we blind to people’s faults. But just a little love makes a big difference in a loveless world.
Second, remember: You control your life. What happened in the past doesn’t matter. This moment is the reality. Start now. Figure out how you need to change, in order to attain greater success in life.
Third, in your darkest times, have hope. Believe in yourself. Don’t wait for somebody else to improve your life. Think: “Maybe I can do it. Why can’t I?” Develop determination and discipline.
Finally, seek happiness, whether you think you deserve it or not. Wish for your own happiness as well as the happiness of everyone else. And then you will find you’ve rowed your boat to the shore of wisdom and love.
