Once upon a yogi time there was a hand and a mouth. The mouth said to the hand: “Feed me and you will be fed.”
The hand replied: “Why don't you go ahead and do it yourself?”
The mouth said: “Feed me and you will be fed.” But the hand was suspicious and refused to feed the mouth.
The mouth said: “Feed me and you will be fed.” The hand did not feed the mouth and when the mouth died, the hand died too.
In India they say that the mouth is the guru and the hand is the disciple. Each person in our lives is the upa guru. If you feed those around you, you will be fed.
